*SCREAMING FOR SILENCE* started as a full band in the Fall of '05. The boyz of *S4S* met and formed the 5-sum while attending Dana College in Blair, NE. From rockin' out in basements and kitchens!, to breaking into the local music scene and touring the midwest region, Screaming For Silence has come a long way and only plan on
picking up steam. In the past 3 years, *S4S* has played with bands such as: Saliva, Drowning Pool, Trapt, Adema, 12 Stones, Hed PE, Hurt, Diecast, Vains of Jenna, Egypt Central, Mayday Parade, Theory of a Deadman, Saving Abel, Four Letter Lie, Bedlight For Blue Eyes, and many more. In October 2008, Screaming For Silence played the main stage at Rock The Ink in Providence, Rhode Island which included bands such as Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Sevendust, Godsmack, Taproot, Saliva, Drowning Pool and more!

*SCREAMING FOR SILENCE*'s sound is influenced by a genre combination of Hard Rock and metal in conjunction with Nu-Metal and punk tendencies, resulting in a very unique and distinctive sound related to Screaming for Silence only. Each performance displays an intense and dynamic stage presence while the music itself exhibits intricate instrumentation and powerful lyrics and vocals. Screaming for Silence continues to evolve as a band, musicians and performers with every show and each opportunity that comes their way.
