SCOUTS HONOR was a three-piece rock'n'roll explosion based out of Chicago and made up of Jared Grabb on vocals and guitar, David Dobbs on drums, and Ernesto Castillo on bass and backing vocals. They played bastardized heavy blues that earned them comparisons to The Melvins, Against Me!, Unsane, and Danzig, to name a few. SCOUTS HONOR shared the stage with such great performers as Hot Water Music, Dead To Me, Against All Authority, Glass And Ashes, Leftover Crack, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Minus The Bear, The Velvet Teen, These Arms Are Snakes, Spitalfield, Aloha, and Denison Witmer. In their 6 years as a band, they played over 400 shows, including a tour in Germany and appearances at SXSW, CMJ, NXNE, Riot Fest, Valley Of The Vapors, and Gainesville Fest. They also released 2 full-length albums, 3 7" records, and a split EP. The band's final CD/DVD, BURIED, comes out on 03-09-10 via Thinker Thought Records (www.thinkerthought.com).
