The S. Burns you have come to know or stumble upon has been a band since August 2004. Seth answered an ad posted by Brandon. He was in. Carlos had already been in. And since then, we've been through 5 years of both significant activity and relative obscurity.

The band plays regionally with occasional forays into other worlds. We've covered a lot of bases with shows at your standard dive bars, Strip Club parking lots, keg parties, local Universities, and friendly gatherings in general. We appear in written publications from time to time and pop up on the area's radio stations as well.

A pair of seven-song albums, Meanwhile at the Burn Pile and Maximum Wage, were released in 2008 and 2009 respectively. The two differ in production value with Burn Pile being a more stylized portrait of the band and the latter cutting more of a recession sound yet weighing in with improved material.
