SAVE THE UNBORN is an underground un-established and highly un-respected hopeless band from Cebu City Philippines. Formed in early 2002 for the love of beer, beautiful girls and pancit canton.

Save The Unborn is formerly called 'DALMAKAL' the other term for ' Dalmatian Askal' - stray crazy dogs found somewhere in the street of squatter areas in Philippines running freely. Shortly, after lots of rejections in playing for local venues and no-paid gigs due to their unpleasant tribe, native un-civilized looks and noisy annoying music against the grandmothers they changed the poor band name. And once renamed as "JUGGERNAUT", they were known for their dark, cryptic aggressive style and their intimidating stage presence...(inside a rental studio.) After years of existing in the local music scene and still not getting some attention and well-deserved airplay -maybe because they don't look appealing to the teenagers and those rock chics from C.I.S, S.T.C and Informatics and C.I.E, compared to those rich bands from "Lighter Press Records" or looking young and feeling social and elite rockstars like those bands from " Boss Grill, Handuraw and Skinny Buddha before...( or after all they just sound sucks!) -that no sexy, naughty, bitchy, punkrock emo girls listen to their music- they ended up with the name Save The Unborn. Amen.

Save The Unborn is now on lay low for a while. Due to personal reasons and some of the band members realized that they could no longer tolerate their stupid hopeless dreams and they need to get a life! Yeah a job! But some of the band members never learned and still continue living in daydreams...and joined with the metal band called Barely Legal. pls visit also their site:
