Save the Ship is made up of five very different people. We are children's ministers, metal heads, manual laborers, praise and worship leaders, husbands, wives, documentary filmmakers, and former drug addicts that came together to make music that we can agree on. We play music so that we can meet people, not to make money. The most valuable thing to us is the conversations we have with people after the show is over. We want you to know that we are humans with flaws, problems, and struggles that would like to meet you.

Save the Ship is from Panama City, FL where the music scene is dominated by various forms of hardcore and metal. Wanting to break from that mold, we desired to make music that was different enough to stand out while still being enjoyable. We formed in late 2006 and began recording our first demo, titled "Look" in early 2007.
