"These lights seem so beautiful." That phrase is exactly what propelled Save the Hero guitarist, Adam Neujahr, to move halfway across the country to Las Vegas. Neujahr sought something musically unique and powerful, unlike what he found in his native Chicago. After arriving in Las Vegas in February 2008, he formed Save the Hero. Neujahr wanted to convey a more positive message in his writing and combine them with his own life experiences. After months of searching for a singer, he found a kindred spirit in Jared Perry. The two began writing their new EP "The Armada."
"The Armada" is a turning point. The album moves Save the Hero's musical maturity in a different direction and sets aside preconceived notions of how rock music should sound. "It was an unexpected direction, but we got out of our own heads and let the songs take us into unexplored territory," says Perry.

Through the course of a year, the dynamic duo of Neujahr and Perry finalized their lineup with members Chris Bitonti, and Chris Berg. They have shared the stage with such bands as Bad Religion, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Dance Gavin Dance, The Audition, The Sleeping, Emarosa and many more.

Armed with a new record, a combined love of great story telling and a reimagined sound, Save the Hero is prepared for what comes next. "Now that 'The Armada' is on the rise, we'll stick to focusing on our fans, said Neujahr. "Giving them a great experience at our shows and reawakening them to some great music."
