Influenced by the likes of The Wildhearts, Guns n' Roses, Pantera and Led Zeppelin Samurai Fury would rightfully be described as OTT Heavy Rock'n'Roll. Straight forward balls to the wall stuff. The band is fronted by Stuart Brown, a real old school energetic performer with a style not unlike that of Bon Scott or Robert Plant. The guitarist Robert Petrie supplies the crushing bluesey rock riffs backed up with blistering solos influenced by 80's metal shredders such as Zack Wylde, Kirk Hammet and the late great Dimebag Darrel. Ex New Faith Drummer Greg Bryce sticks with his metal roots of Sepultura and Tool whilst also bringing his own unique style that helps create the bands original sound. Sandy Bain takes plays the bass always writing excellent riffs that avoid the cliche' of the bass simply mimicking the guitar part. His style is influenced by bands like Rage Against The Machine, Rush and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Mix that all together and Samurai Fury's what you get.
