A banda Salterio foi formada no dia 26 de junho de 2004, teve como 1 formacao Alex (vocal), Neto (teclado), Cristiano e David (guitarras), Caio (baixo) e Ewerton (bateria). Mas logo nos primeiros ensaios Alex pediu pra sair do grupo e entao Felipe assumiu o vocal da banda. Da em diante a banda foi comecando a se entrosar e fazer suas proprias musicas! O estilo da banda tambem comecou a ganhar forma tendo como razes o Heavy Metal com algumas pegadas progressivas.

Mas depois de um ano a banda teve duas perdas, Neto que recebeu um novo chamado em sua vida e David por questoes pessoais que o levou a sair do grupo. Para o lugar de David, entrou o guitarrista
Lavousier que ate contribui com uma das cancoes da banda, mas infelizmente apos 6 meses teve que sair da banda por questoes profissionais. Entao a banda continuou a se apresentar so com os quatros integrantes que restaram.

Depois de 2 anos e meio de paucos, a banda resolveu fazer o seu 1 cd demo Tempo de Perseguicao que contou com a participacao especial do guitarrista Jilton que ainda permaneceu na banda por mais dois meses, e do tecladista Dudu (Banda Refugio).

No final de 2006, Ewerton teve que sair do grupo porque foi morar no Sul do pais e Cristiano por questes pessoais acabou saindo do grupo.
A Salterio tem ajudado muito o rock cristao de Campina Grande e tem levado a bandeira de Deus em todos os lugares onde toca e mesmo estando somente com Felipe e Caio a banda continua na direcao de Deus esperando por aqueles servos que irao completar o grupo.
A Salterio agradece por todos que passaram pelo grupo, pois deixaram a sua contribuicao como musicos, como amigos e principalmente na obra de Deus!

The Salterio band was formed in day 26 of June of 2004, had as 1 formation Alex (vocal), Grandson (keyboard), Cristiano and David (guitars), Caio (Bass) and Ewerton (battery). But soon in the first assays Alex he asked for pra to leave the group and then Philip assumed the vocal one of the band. From there in ahead the band he was starting if to entrosar and to make its proper musics! The style of the band also started to gain form having as razes the Heavy Metal with some gradual footprints.

But after one year the band it had two losses, Grandson whom a new call in its life received and David for personal questions who took it to leave the group. For the place of David, the Lavousier guitarist entered who until contributes with one of the songs of the band, but unhappyly after 6 months had that to leave the band for professional questions. Then the band continued if to only present with the integrant quatros that had remained.

After 2 years and way, the band decided to make its 1 single Time of Persecution that counted on the special participation of the Jilton guitarist that still remained in the band for more two months, and of the tecladista Dudu (Band Refugio).

In the end of 2006, Ewerton it had that to leave the group because was to live in the South of the country and Cristiano for personal questions it finished leaving it group. The Saltrio has helped very the Christian rock of Campina Grande and has taken the flag of God in all the places where it touches and same being only with Philip and Caio the band it continues in the direction of God waiting for those servants who will go to complete the group. The Salterio is thankful for that they had passed for the group, therefore had left its contribution as musicians, as friends and mainly in the workmanship of God!
