Sally Boy got its first live review in the Noise. It was really awesome of T-Max to say such nice things about us. Chuck and Tord finally got recognition for their guitar screaming! YEEEEAHHHHHH.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all animal crackers.

Thank you all for coming out to see us at Harper's Ferry. We had a wonderful time playing, and it was very...happy-making...to hear screams and "Woo-hoos" everytime we started a song. It was probably the best thing in the world.

In other news, the T-shirts have made it to our new merch box. We have colors to suit all tastes, especially if your taste happens to be green, red, or black. The shirts are awesome, though. You'd look great in one. I bet you we'd even cut you a deal, maybe a t-shirt AND a CD for $12. Now that's a price-chop if I've ever seen one.

Our next show is March 25th at the Marblehead Charter School. There will be many surprises, plus maybe Chuck or Tord will give you kisses.

I'm out, I'm probably going to go play Kingdom Hearts or something. Holy crap, did you know that Kingdom Hearts II is coming out?! AND METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SUBSISTENCE JUST HIT THE SHELVES TODAY!!! HOLY COW LET'S GO BUY IT NOW!!!! WHO'S WITH ME?!!!?

holy cow doozers

HEY EVERYBODY HOPE YOU ALL ARE HAVIN A GREAT MONDAY!!


So, despite our show getting cancelled last weekend (future reference for all bands that book shows: Myspace is not an effective way to relay important messages, like a show being cancelled), we did get some good news.


Sally Boy has been selected to play the WBCN High School Battle of the Bands on March 11th, 2006. Holy COW!!! THAT'S THIS WEEKEND!!!! What am I doing still at college? Why am I not practicing with my band? Because I am a fool?...yes.

Anyway, come to Harper's Ferry (158 Brighton Ave, Allston MA) this saturday at noon to watch us and a bunch of other awesome high school bands play. We promise you that an extreme amount of rocking the mother eff out will be done (hopefully the majority of it by us). It will be an excellent opportunity for you to purchase a CD or maybe even ONE OF OUR NEW T-SHIRTS!!!! Yes, we plan on coming to the show with more than four of them, this time.

I AM THE MASTER OF THE DOMAIN OF PUREVOLUME

Hi, happy Valentine's Day to all animal crackers everywhere,

Since Ben is awfully tied up with myspace I have taken on the thick and sweaty and arduous task of purevoluming. I'm actually quite positive that Ben could handle purevolume and myspace at the same time, but...wires, kid.

If you look at the "shows" list, you can see that we have many shows coming up, and it will be a blast, I assure you. If you're in the area, or heck, even if you're out of the area come and see us. If not to see us, then to check out some of the awesome other bands we're playing with, like Letterday and the such. We always have CDs for you to win and buy (more emphasis on buying, because we need to eat this summer), and we hope to have t-shirts, too.

Chuck just finished working on the website; it is beautiful. A guestbook exists now, so please go there right now and tell him how amazing he is, and kiss and stroke his pee pee tenderly. He will greatly appreciate it, I assure you. Tord might, too.

Oh, and mad props to our girl Tonya from East Lansing for being the first Sallyboy fan. She is great, and will go down in history. In Ben's words, "We love the piss out of her."
