Running From Romance, natives of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has an explosive rock-n-roll sound comparable to modern day acts such as Emanuel and Letter Kills with classic rock influences such as AC/DC, Guns N Roses, and Aerosmith. With 5 years under their belt with the same lineup, the band is currently unsigned, but hard work ethic prevails, as the band has a touring past similar to many bands on indie labels. With a new demo online receiving overwhelming amounts of attention from industry heads to cramming a fulltime touring itinerary in a part-time schedule, the band is seeking to find a label with the same passion. In 2005 the band completed work on The Four-Fourteen EP with producer Billy Rossi (Anti-Flag, Punchline, Buzzcocks). Songs off the Four-Fourteen EP have been featured on 105.9 The X (Clear Channel) and other local stations. Running From Romance has graced the stage with acts such as Gym Class Heros, Amber Pacific, Over It, Receiving End of Sirens, and many others. Keep your ears open, youll be sure to hear more of Running From Romance in the near future.
