Since 1989, Philly-based RTY has been playing reggae and ska to adoring audiences. While ska and reggae stylings provide the common musical thread, much of the music is dosed with elements of hip-hop, rocksteady, rub-a-dub, dancehall, funk, jazz, and punk. The band has three full-length releases: BIG STEP (1992), the follow-up album HORNY FOR SKA (1996), and their third CD PHILLY STYLEE (2005). A five-song EP entitled "God's Ghetto" was released in 2008. The band plans to release a new full length in 2009 to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
