Roxie was a catchy and energetic 4-piece Boston power-pop-punk band. Coming together in 1999, Roxie built quite a following by playing tons of shows throughout the Northeast US. The guys released their debut full-length CD, "Make-Out Party!" on Pillow Talk Records in 2003 available at Interpunk.com.
Roxie teamed up with the FOX Network and shot a music video w/ The New England Patriots Cheerleaders at Gillette Football Stadium to support the release of the 2004 Cheerleaders Swimsuit DVD [which included a 10-song soundtrack & music video from Roxie]. Their sound has been compared to Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Beach Boys & more.
In January of 2005, Roxie played their final show in Cambridge MA. Jim & Ted (the founding members) of Roxie have gone on to play in The Appreciation Post who have released a CD titled "Brighter Sides".

I dont know if there are any copies left, but check out Interpunk.com if you're trying to find "Make-Out Party!". Some person who is clearly out of their fucking mind has been trying to sell our first ep "Make Your Selection" for like $30 bucks on ebay. It's been up for about a year now. I wonder why it's not selling? hmmm. it is pretty rare: only 500 copies pressed, but probably not worth that kind of money. We have like 3 copies left.
We also have about 10 copies of Make-Out Party! left if anyone wants to buy them. email: info@theappreciationpost.com (you get a free shirt with any purchase, as supplies/sizes last).
