Rotllà: the Artist
A lifelong musician and creative artist, Rotllà (Ro-th-yà) is a true born talent. His love of Dance and Electronic Music are the driving forces behind the independent releases "Technotronic", "Computerology Orchestra", and the recently released "A New Idea". Influenced by a space age mentality, the musical inspiration comes from classic funk, soul, and rock music. By this approach, Rotllà, seeks to take his music away from genre ridden stereotypes and into a new arena. In this sense, his music stands above and unlabeled, featuring tinges of classical orchestration, vintage electro, hip hop, and futuristic techno. Never obvious, his arrangements are discreetly "noobial" yet ingeniously exude an overture-like splendor. Overtly opposed to symbols of mediocrity, his compositions are raw and un-dilluted harrowing a spectrum of deep colorful dimmensions. In an array of digitized beat syncopations, rapturous harmonics, and signature "filter" madness, the depth of his pieces are infinitely enthralling. With the courage to stand apart from meager inventions and genre cliches, it is in this way that his "idea" for a better sound comes to be.

Rotlla`: the Dj
An entrepreneurial "roots" DJ, Rotllà, has been paying dues for nearly a decade. While taking on the titles of DJ and Electronic Musician, his response to the current industry standard is straighforward, and consumately definitive. With an arsenal of classics leagues deep, his unique taste requires a catalogue listing only the keenest and liveliest in variety from "master" musicians and proven dance-floor favorites. Amidst the connoisseurs of "le disko" the vibe that resonates stems from an "outer limits" attitude, deepened by a global sensibility. Whether back or front room, party or rave, his live sets are full of sonic emotion and cultural affair. As such, he has become a true eye and ear to the people.
