Rosario Smowing formed in early 2000 by their frontman Diego Javier Casanova and few other musicians from Rosario, Argentina. The band took the shape of a swing band, with litle hints of ska, some reggae music and spicing things up with some boleros and latin music. In September that year they released their first ep named "Rosario ya no es lo que era" (Rosario aint no more the way it used to be) with 3 studio songs and 2 live songs taken from early shows. After playing the hell of Rosario independent scene they recorded their first full length in CD format (Volumen 1, 2004), by that time some of the early personnel was gone, giving entrance to many other accomplished musicians and broadening musicals horizons and bringing some new instruments to their sound... In 2006 Rosario Smowing is cooking some of their delicious flavours which now includes tango, rocksteady and some many other swinging beats... all played without thinking from their heads but feeling the beat with their feets.
