The incredible American Rock band Roi and the Secret People are proud to announce the release of their new album, “Dog St.”
Combining the down and dirty vibe of the Rolling Stones and the Southern soul of the Marshall Tucker Band and the Black Crowes, This Brooklyn-based outfit features the beautiful, mesmerizing voice of Mike Roi (formerly of Brother Grimm and Roi) and the high-octane slide guitar of Noel Rockwood (lead guitarist for the Snapdragons, Shiny Mama, and The New Professionals). RSP have generated an ardent following in the NYC and Philadelphia areas, and have played such renowned clubs as The Tin Angel in Philly and Arlene’s Grocery on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
"Dog St." was produced by Mike Roi and LABATOMIX (Dose and Donny Rock of the band Shootys Groove) in Bronx, N.Y. and features artwork (below) by award-winning illustrator Tony DiTerlizzi, whose latest project is the blockbuster film "The Spiderwick Chronicles".
Salt-of-the-earth, gritty, and true-blue, Roi and the Secret People are a band that carries on the tradition of the best American Rock has to offer.

Oh yes... there it is!!!!
word has come down from the almighty mountain that the Roi and the Secret People record has finally been MIXED!!! And now it is in the process of being mastered so....THERE IS A GOD!!!
ok ok... now that i've calmed down I just wanted to let you know a few new happenings here in the R.S.P. camp..
Ben Handel is BACK from his lengthy tour of JAPAN and hopefully you'll see his smiling face behind the drumset at the next few R.S.P. shows. Had a late night out with him and some friends last night at Orchard200 in the LES for kris's going away party-We'll miss you dearly our sweet girl!!!!!
So it seems at the moment -the secret people drum gods will be alternating between big RICH (who's done our last few shows) and mr. BEN... and of course there is our pastor of Debauchery on the Bass- mr. Dave Leatherwood.
also in R.S.P. news- the new record will be called - Dog St. and the record track listing goes something like this:

well well well......
the R.S.P. T-shirts have finally arrived!!!! There are 3 different styles (black,white and a womans tank) all featuring the R.S.P. logo... They will be on sale at all future shows for $20.00.. limited supply at this point so make sure you get one!
Also-
posted up is a newly mixed tune called Nancy which will be on the new record. One more tune to go before its done!!!!! Give it a spin!-(or um... hit the button with your mouse...)
