NEW EP COMING SPRING 05!!

So whats Robolint all about??
Robolint are 6 piece band that can only be described as a mix of fast anthemic pop punk ska with occasional hardcore breakdowns, with the onstage energy of Andrew WK (If your not familiar think of a human Duracell Bunny on acid!) and all wearing stupid costumes that combined create a sound and show unlike any other band on the scene.
The point of all this is pure and simpleâ¦â¦â¦.. fun! As the saying goes âIf the band are enjoying themselves so will the audienceâ and Robolint use this to full effect. The costumes are stupid, the lyrical content ranges from everything from slugs to bakers but
Robolint successfully manage to stray away from being the novelty act they cud have quite easily become by writing songs that are memorable and can be listened to again and again. Not just songs you`ll listen to once, find funny and then never listen to.

We have been influenced by such diverse bands as The Ataris, Aquabats, Reel Big Fish, No Use For A Name, Dashboard Confessional all the way to other end of the spectrum with bands like Slipknot, Dire Straits and Andrew WK.
We are an extremely hard working band and have played over 150 gigs across the UK since Robolint formed in 2003 and have done another 50+ previous as our previous band Fluff Castle. We have played with big names such as Catch 22, Tsunami Bomb, The Damned, The Buzzcocks, Bad Manners and more. Also through mass internet promotion and setting up of our own street team we have got our name spread around and have sold over 2000 copies of our debut EP âI Wanna be Massiveâ and have had over 30,000 hits on our website with no label support. Promotion is something we work very hard on and we have even gone to the lengths of playing outside of larger bands gigs (E.g Greenday, Less Than Jake etc.) to the queues outside with generator, drums and amps while our street team flyered and stickerd everyone they could. We have built a large fan-base and are gaining more and more at each gig we play. In the Devon area we are one of the most well-known unsigned, original bands. Our future plans are to try and gig as much as we possibly can around the country , promoting ourselves as much as humanly possible, were currently recording a new CD due out this spring and we also have self funded tours of the UK, Belgium and Sweden lined up.
