About My Music

Currently I have two albums. One album is titled "Ambient Jazzman." The album currently has 12 pieces. The style of music on the album is a combination of smooth jazz with ambience and some elements of R&B. I created this album for relaxation and to create a state of peacefulness as you listen to it. Some of the pieces on the album include "Atlantis Groove," which starts as a relaxing piano and string piece and then becomes a smooth groove, jazz waltz style piece; "LunarLight", which is a cool, New Age/Jazz Ballad sounding piece; and "Midnight Storm" which is more of Smooth Jazz/R&B/Ambience piece. Midnight Storm is based on a true story, as I recorded it during a loud and serious storm at midnight during May of 2005. "Ocean Spray" is a Bossa Nova. I really love the way the Bossa Nova sounds. It reminds me of either playing in the ocean or just kicking it on the beach and feeling a mild mist of the ocean spray in the air and hit your face. WaterWay is my definition of "Ambient Jazz." It was with this piece that I decided to go for an "Ambient" as well as "jazzy" feeling for my album. I have performed several of the pieces from this album live.

My other album is composed of my first and my main style. It's more New Age/easy listening/free composition. The music from this album is mainly New Age music and solo piano compositions. This album was also created for relaxation and meditation. New World," which is from this album, is what I consider one of my greatest creations. It is my first truly original sounding piece. It is my favorite composition because it sounds very original, and it represents much of my personality. It reminds me of the love I have for outer space and exploring the unknown. "Emotional Fantasy" is another one of my truly original, as well as completely uninspired by anything, piece of music that a created from deep within my soul. Most people that hear it says that is sort of reminds them of Debussy, but sounds very original and beautiful. Strangely, I just randomly created this piece one day. I heard it in my head and translated it through my hands. Meditation is the most relaxing piece that is on the CD. When I listen to it, I always go into a relaxing, peaceful trance.

I am working on a third CD entitled "Space Exploration." This album will feature space music. Currently I have about 4 pieces for the album. In addition to the albums I am working on, I currently have several other pieces of orchestrated and New Age music, as well as music for film cues.
