Both a music producer and a poet, Robert Bates will be one of the most intelligent musicians to have broken into the music industry within the last decade. New to the game and only 18 years of age, Rob Bates recently started making beats from the luxuries of his home located on the Southside of Chicago where he was born and raised. His beats have caught the attention of many throughout the Chicago land area, including several recording labels. He attends one of the most prestigious high schools in the city of Chicago. Throughout his entire life he has faced many struggles, the most recent being his successful battle against Osteosarcoma (cancer) this past year. With a strong mind and an open heart Rob Bates continues to live his life to the fullest without any regrets.

Although it is not know as to whether or not he will continue to make music, he will continue to partake in writing lyrics as he collaborates with other up and coming artists. To this very day, he still has hopes of a prosperous future career as a major producer. All beats/musical productions are original creations that reflect Rob's preference and style of music. He is a versatile musician, as well as a young businessman (entrepreneur). Rob is still looking for other musicians or lyricists who might be interested and willing to work with him.

Attention Chicago Artists:

Attention all Chicago Area musicians/artists:

Important Update

All fans, friends, and visitors:

Due to certain difficulties & circumstances, I will not have any songs up on my site for the next few weeks or so. After talking to someone about what I should do in terms of copyrighting or patenting my music they told me some things about what I should and should not do. With that said, I will need some time to complete the proper paper work and any other legal stuff that I might need so that I do not find myself getting ripped off in the end.

I will put my songs back up as soon as I figure out what I am going to do.

Whaddup

Whaddup whaddup? I just updated my site for the first time, so what do you think of the newly added beats? Anyway, I'm still working on some more beats but it might be a while before I add some new stuff. Ive been kind of busy, and I'm still looking for someone, anyone, to rap over my beats.

a last stand attempt to provide my daily drama with
adequate phrasing. it\'ll help clear out all the
