Rightlane is recognized for their excellent live performances and astute, melodic song writing. They are coming to be well known around Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky by national acts, large venues, and radio stations. With the release of As Darkness Falls, the sky is the limit on where the music will take them. The band plans to release multiple concept EP albums as a way to reflect their musical diversity. Rightlane has shared the same stage with various national acts, such as: FAMILY FORCE 5, HOUSE OF HEROES, SHOWBREAD, BLEACH, DJ MAJ, HIT THE LIGHTS, BRADLEY HATHAWAY, SULLIVAN, MEXICO MEXICO, FIGHTING INSTINCT, and MORELLO. Rightlane is a band with a positive message that deals with day to day struggles of standing up for truth and the fine line between hope and downfall.

Since forming in spring 2003, the band has gone through a major stylistic change. Only together as a band for no more than 2 months, they started working on their 3 song EP entitled Demolition which later released in the fall of that year. Demolition was recieved as a pop-punk, garage band type of sound by many listeners across the nation. Slowly molding into a new, more mature sound, Rightlane decided to head back into the studio only months after the release of Demolition to record their first full length album, As Darkness Falls. However, who would have thought that working on the new album would take nearly 2 years to complete? The 10 song LP features many of the different musical influences that has made Rightlane a hit in the northern-Ohio, tri-state area. With sounds ranging from indie, punk to contemporary and pop, As Darkness Falls is as diverse as the band members themselves.
