Every band will try to sell themselves to you the same way - Of course they're tired of hearing the same sad sounds regurgitated in pallid VFW halls throughout America. And in case you didn't know, they're the band that's going to change everything for you, revolutionize your music-listening experience with their lush, aural soundscapes. And Riendeau just might be that band that earnestly changes everything you thought music is. Or then again, they might not. But honestly, they couldn't care less. Forged from a myriad of local Boston acts, these five musicians craft honest, passionate music, pushing their own sonic boundaries to the fullest. The dueling lead-guitars of Christopher Richardson and Jason Dooley spawn blistering leads, laced with infectious, head-nodding grooves. Held down by the monstrous stomp of bassist Ryan Dooley and backed by the rock-solid rhythms of Josh Ardizzoni, keyboardist Bobby DiBari keeps the tunes in check with his subtle, yet tasteful, accentuations. Oh, and that guy they call a singer? That's Maxx Snow. Standing slightly above the five foot marker, his incendiary scream ensures that you'll remember this pint-sized powerhouse. Whether it's opening for national acts or thrashing a house party, there's no question that Riendeau came to give it their all. And the rest, well, that's for you to decide.
