PureVolume

It officially started in 2007, but it was created since 2004 while staying in Norway and I found very fascinating the idea of playing with international artists; the idea emerged when I was preparating myself to open with the ensemble Intergalactic Movement from Oslo, the 2004 Karlsoya festival in the far hippie Island of Karl in the north of Norway. The whole peacefull and lovely enviroment was so inspiring!!

By that time, I had some music written, so I started developing the whole compositions for the first album which is called "Beyond the black" which contains mainly nihilistic lyrics and encloses a whole period of dark experiences in my life, but always wishing a better world filled up with love and peace.

Then, I invited to participate in the whole thing, singers friends of mine who were willing to share this music and the preproduction endeavours started; kindly, many people joint the project, from visual artists to a talented producer, to our female guests singers that already shine for themselves; we will have singing for us in this first album five different great singers from all over the world: Marcela Bovio and Sharon Quintero from Mexico; Larisa Shelest from Ukraine, Marjan Welman from The Netherlands and Mavi Solano from Spain; they are all singing for their own bands so, it will be double the thankfullness and the apreciattion for their strong interest in work with me inside this very special music. Thanks Girls!! Very special thanks too to the great piano player and classical composer Itziar Fadrique who is gonna be playing here too plus some others great musicians that already have shown interest in joining such as dutch bass player Marjolein Kooijman and Norways drummer Antonio Torner.
