93.3 WMMR Local Shots Volume 6
Whats up all?! Just wanted to give an update... We received notification today that our track "The Sweetness" will be featured on Jaxon's Local Shots Vol 6 CD. This is a great honor to be selected amongst the many local Philly bands. We'll also be performing at the CD Release party on Sept 10th at a venue TBD. As soon as we know where the venue is, we will post it on all sites. Speaking of sites, be sure to check out the many new websites that we have invaded and leave a comment or two. As always, we are looking for support, street teamers and fans. So, thanks again and hope to see you at the shows!

THE DEFINITION OF REPLACEMENT: OUT NOW!!!
Ladies and Gents, Our hard work has finally paid off as we annouce the official release of our FULL LENGTH DEBUT. We'd like to thank everyone that supported us and helped make this a reality. The 10 TRACK LP has been a work in progress for some time now but it has paid off as we now have a musical creation we are very proud of and we think you will be too. Jump on the Recent Hours train while it's still pulling out of the station. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID! - RH

Tastes like Chicken...!
Whats up kids?! A lot of stuff has been happening and we've been keeping busy. Our album is now Fully Mastered thanks to Chris over at ECR Studios and it sounds amazing. Now we just need to agree on the artwork and get them pressed so you guys can snatch em up! Also, we were fortunate enough to book an opening slot with a band that we have a great deal of respect for. August 21st at the Crocodile Rock in Allentown, we'll be sharing the stage with Jimmies Chicken Shack. Tickets are only $10 so bring a friend. Support local, original music! -RH

And the winner is...!
On Friday April 18th we won the HM Management/Concerts Battle to Get Signed. There were a lot of great bands, Enstride, Fith, Drop of Grey and Twelve After to name a few, and it was great to meet and play with them all... Its pretty cool that we went from second place the first round, winner of the wild card round to winners of the Finals, all while playing in and around Harrisburg. We didn't know what to expect leaving the Philly area but were welcomed with open arms. We will now be represented by HM and have a 1 year contract with them. Hopefully this means bigger and better things for Recent Hours and for our fans. We need the support now more than ever so spread the word, come to a show and visit the sites. Thanks! -RH

Album!
What up?! We just confirmed that Chris over at ECR Studios will be mixing and mastering our album. This is exciting news since we have been waiting for about 5 months to start on the mastering. This means that a final product should be ready by the end of April and we can stop writing updates about when the album will be ready and start writing updates about new songs and shows. The cd will be available at all shows and online. Thanks again to anyone reading this and always support local and original music. -RH

Whats Happening!?
Greetings all. Just wanted to give an update in case anyone is actually looking at our pages. We have been super busy with shows and recording. We have one more show in January on the 25th and after that the post production begins. We decided to take all of February off to finalize our album and create more merch and then get back to the shows in March. NEW SONGS WILL BE POSTED THIS WEEK so keep an eye out here and at our myspace. Sorry for the delays but better late than never.

RECORDING
Whats up people? We started to record our first full length this summer and it is sounding sweet. We're busy finishing up the vocals now so, after a complete mix down, the cd should be ready by Christmas. So far there are 13 songs recorded but depending on the end product, we may cut the number down for the final package. We're very excited and hope you are too.
