Rebel Outcry, a trio based out of Washington DC, has quickly become a must-see band across the Washington/Metro Area. With an energetic live show and an eclectic musical styling, the RO is truly cutting their teeth into new musical grounds.

Rooted in the sounds of Motor Head, Bob Dylan, Green Day, Eric Clapton, Nirvana, Metallica, and The Dave Matthews Band, the RO started with humble but enthusiastic beginnings in the hands of founding fathers, Jason Shimkoski and Derek Ames. After meeting when Jason rejoined KamaraCloud, a band he had previously played bass for, they hit it off, and began jamming on new and completely different material.

The two decided to go separate ways with KamaraCloud and head towards their destiny. With Derek on drums and Jason switching to guitar and vocals, a bassist was in need to ground the band. After two months of auditions, which included some names as well known as Che Lemon (of Jimmys Chicken Shack fame), they found the perfect player in Daniel Hicks, a long time friend of Jasons. His sense of melody and mood brought Rebel Outcry to a whole new level.

With the puzzle pieced together, Rebel Outcry came to shape as a powerhouse of speed, melody, variance, and beauty. This endless supply of controlled chaos in combination with a strong passion for their music to be introduced into peoples lives is truly the stepping stones to a musical revolution.
