"In the state of things right now, faces sell music and it's a hard fact to deal with. We never wanted to be anything but songwriters and song players."

Hello.
It's been just over a year since we last wrote on this page, but we felt the need to return and share some exciting news.
Last week, we began a collaboration with Randy Porter of Sonic PP Recording Studios, the product of which will become our debut album. As of yesterday, we finished recording our first two songs, "Jericho, Revisited" and "Cheater." The songs have been posted here and on our new myspace (www.myspace.com/reauxshambeauxrock) for your enjoyment.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to listen.

Things are happening extremely fast. Winter break is nearly over, but we've got quite a bit to show for it. We've taken advantage of our month together, and there's something special going on. It leaves us reluctant to return to our respective colleges, knowing that we'll be waiting many months before we can put the finishing touches on this completely new vision we've been working so feverishly on. But yet, we're ecsatic at what we've already accomplished. It's not that we have nothing new to offer you, it's that we're not quite ready to offer it yet. But keep your eyes peeled.

Roshambo reunited Saturday night and played a reunion show in honor of drummer Philip's 18th birthday. We gotta be honest, guys...it was quite possibly our most energetic show to date. If you missed it, be very sorry. The set list:
1. Quiet Things
2. Radio
3. Cheater
4. One More Night
5. The Political Song
6. Bro Hymn
7. Dammit
8. Don't Lose Touch
9. Bobby Brown
10. The Rapture
11. Don't Lose Touch (Acoustic)
We'll hopefully be playing at least one show while we're all home for winter break, so check back sometime around the beginning of December.

So summer has come to an end, and we've all moved on to our own personal endeavors. Brad is studying at Bowling Green State University, Jake at Ohio University, and Matt at Terra Tech, while Philip is embarking on his senior year at Ross High School. So for now, it's safe to say that Roshambo is on a hiatus. We haven't broken up; we'll be together over breaks and summers, but the writing/performing process has come to a halt, at least for a few months. We're all keeping busy with our own individual projects, and we'll use this site to update you all on what we're up to musically.
Thanks to everyone who has supported us this summer, whether it be by showing up or telling people about our music. It's been a priviledge to share our music with all of you.
