There comes a day in everyone's life when they realize there must be more.

"Music was the only thing that took me there," admits singer and guitarist Dustin W. "When push came to shove, music was the only thing left that seemed real." It is this passion and love for music that brought the alternative rock band, Reality Addiction , finally together. All hailing from New Jersey, the band is comprised of Dustin Widofsky (Vocals/Guitars), Ben Antelis (Drums/Vocals), Jonathan Schevelowitz or "Sheepdog" (Bass), and Robby Tal (Lead Guitar).

In the summer of 2007 the band released their first self-titled EP, which contained 7 tracks. The overwhelming response of the release drew CD sales from all over the country, and over 125,000 plays on their Myspace in a very short period of time. This past September 08' the band released their debut album "Maybe Now You'll Listen" which drew sales from around the globe.

Through performing at just about every club, bar, venue and street corner in Israel and the NY/NJ area, Reality Addiction has become a well known act. Along with being hired by a large range of colleges, festivals and parties, the band has moved up quickly with notable appearances that include: performing at Six Flags Over Georgia with Natasha Bedingfield, playing numerous other Six Flags theme parks around the country, performing with the chart-topping duo, Evan and Jaron (Crazy for this Girl) at the Schottenstein Cultural Center in Midtown Manhattan, playing at Rutgers University with Max Bemis of Say Anything and many more.

The band was featured in a band spotlight on a local TV program. "Jersey Fresh TV", whom came down to the studio for a very out of the ordinary interview. In the month of May, RA won 1rst place in the Alternative Rock category on Ourstage.com, and 3rd place out of every category to win the $5,000 grand prize. (All credit to our street team) In addition, the band had been announced as the first place winner of the 2007 EpicJams contest, which was won by getting the most online votes. The self-titled EP and debut album has already been featured on dozens and dozens of radio stations across the world. Numerous online magazines and local newspapers have interviewed and featured RA, including one in New Jersey where they stole a spot on the front page!

The band thrives on maintaining close relationships with the fans and diligently living and breathing music each and every day. With a certain rare intensity and meaningful quality to every song, Reality Addiction takes a special pride in offering more then just music; but a message.
