We just had a tragic accident happen, which many of you know about; the loss of our bassist Ryen Hollander. we've told some of you who were wondering, but for the rest of you...this is how it went down. We played a show on Sunday the 28th. Afterwards, we had a huge party. Ryen was drunk but still felt like he was sober enough to drive. so he left. he didnt make it too far before he hit a guard-rail, causing his car to flip 15 times, getting shredded apart. then it blew up. up until that point Ryen was okay. he was then rushed to the nearest hospital, surviving the night, only to die early the next morning. We lost someone very important to us all, and we have been facing tough times. We know we promised many of you that we would be touring and several people were really looking forward to it. But now we're not even sure if that's going to happen or not. Right now we're using Addison Azel as a back up bassist, but Ryen was irreplacable. if theres anyone local willing to come try out, thatd be fine, since Sin doesnt have the time to put into the band much. It will take us some time to get over this accident, so if we dont reply to any comments on Katie or 'Sin's purevolumes, its because we've been really busy, and we're sorry about that. we appreciate all of the nice comments people have left us, especially one particular one made by our dear friend Samuel. We didnt tell you this to make you feel sad or sorry for us. its a fact of life, and it just happens. but since many people are interested in our band and our maybe upcoming tour, we figured we should let you know. I've had losses before, so I can relate some, but...that just really moved me, and it hurts me, to. Obviously not as much as you guys, but some. Keep playing and keep hanging in there. Whoa. It must be hard to lose someone so dear and special. Tickle Me Pink just lost their bassist and I bet people are moved just like they were with Ryen's death.
