R.A.M. has borned in December 2000, when Angel Gimenez (guitars) and Jorge Rivarola (bass) decided to create a band that must achieve high goals.
Angel and Jorge started to work hard to make it, so they composed a lot of songs, then Lucas Santarelli (vocals) joined the band, after a few month Fernando Sarra (drums) consolidate the band, and togheter they started to record their first EP. Then Lucas joined to another band called Aura, so he decided to leave RAM, in December 1, 2002, Gerard Pfingst (vocal, guitar) joined the band. With this new line up: Angel Gimenez (vocal, guitar) Gerard Pfingst (vocal, guitar) Jorge Rivarola (Bass) Fernando Sarra (Drums), R.A.M. is ready to rock.

Cataloged as the South American TOOL by the Inside Connection Music Magazine and being semifinalist on ISC music writing competition in 2007 RAM is in a good way trying to do a lot of gigs to improve their live performance.

RAM is Based on new musical concepts, that seek a new fresh and futurist sound inside of a context with melodic vocals, loops, different rhythms and powerful riffs, delimit a solid architecture with the intensity of nu metal, the rock songs freeing and persuasive phrases and the melodies versatility. The compositions has been worked out on MIDI format, at the same as the recordings has been done on a domestic studio, that let RAM ideas flow and explore new sounds, music ideas, harmony, rhythms, melodies that give, more dynamism, creativity and independency to the band, to make an original and valid result.

RAM, banda que sugi a mediados del ao 2000 cuando Angel Gimnez (guitarras) y Jorge Rivarola (bajo) deciden formar un grupo de metal, influenciados por varias bandas del old-metal school. Angel y Jorge van a varios conciertos de bandas locales con el objetivo de encontrar un vocalista que encaje en RAM, luego de una no tan larga ni tan corta bsqueda encontraron a Lucas Santarelli (Voces) en el 2002, comienzan a intercambiar ideas y luego de algunos ensayos consolidan el concepto de RAM, incluyendo varias influencias del la nueva escuela del Metal. Recien en el 2005 la banda queda consolidada con Fernando Sarria (batera) quien dara el toque final a la banda. Finalmente Lucas decide acoplarse a otro proyecto llamado AURA, motivo por el cual mas tarde decide abandonar RAM, entonces Angel pasa a ser vocalista y guitarrista de la banda, y decide convocar a Gerard Pfingst (ex-Leash, banda de grunge de la escena local) como segunda guitarra y vocalista, Pfingst con su escuela grunge le da un toque ms melanclico a R.A.M.

Lanzan su primer material llamado RAM Ep, grabado en su propio estudio, producido y editado por la banda, y comienzan a promocionar por las radios a Asuncion (Capital del Paraguay) y otras ciudades vecinas, el material tiene una buena aceptacion y la audiencia comienza interesarse por la banda, y as comienzan a tocar por todo el pais.

Actualmente la banda est grabando su primer LP que tendr 13 temas al puro estilo de RAM, preparando un Video clip, y un DVD en vivo.
