Members: Sean Malloy

On the verge of creating a "New Sound", Sean Malloy, from "Raising Eyebrows" has been experimenting with new music, a lot of synths and maintaining his roots of Punk Rock. " I want to create something different, I know there is a lot of different things out there today, some of which people don't even know that genre exists. But I am optimistic and have been creating music, for what seems to me to be a long time, but I do it because I love it and hope people feel the same. Sometimes you can only do so much by yourself. I have had this solo project for years now and it has gone nowhere. I can't play shows like I used to and it's hard to find people that are into the same music as I, let alone play the music I want to write."

In 2005 "Raising Eyebrows" was born as a side project while Sean was in a Metal band called "THAW" on Long Island. The band was coming up and playing lots of shows with local regulars some of which were signed to labels. The only thing was "THAW" kept breaking down before they could get anywhere. Losing band members and gaining some, then losing them again was a hard thing for the band to get over. As it is for a lot of bands today. Sean, being the only one in college decided to go to Tampa for school to pursue his Film/Television degree in Communications. As of now he is finishing up and experimenting with film/video and music. " I plan on making videos to my music and music to my films. I think the two just work so well together it is amazing. I love the whole indie scene and the creativity that comes out of it. I have a bunch of friends with such creativity it's hard to imagine a dollar sign on the production value of their ideas. It's just amazing that no matter how creative you are it comes down to the dollar signs."
