Radical Frenzy is a fourpiece that plays punk-rock with influences
like Nofx, Lagwagon and more. Began as a threepiece in November 2002
with Evert on guitar, Tristan on drums and Deny on bass & vocals.
A year later we were getting bored of the dull sound of one guitar
only playing chords, that's where Sandra came in as second guitarist.
After this great decision of becoming a fourpiece, our sound changed
in a good way and we even won the public price of the Kaaipop contest in 2004.
Tristan left the band because of moving to Belgium to study etcetera.
Rik took over the drums two weeks later and learned the songs in no time.
In October 2004 we recorded 5 songs at Studio 195. Before that, we
recorded two bad quality demo's that weren't very representive for bookings
and other goals. We called the cd Yesterday's Special. Sending this cd to
festival organisers and venues delivered us quite some gigs to be proud of.
Summer of 2005 arrived and the chemistry between Evert and us
was dissapearing more and more. Evert left the band because he couldn't
enjoy playing our songs anymore. Being friends for a long time made it
even harder. Still Sandra, Rik and Deny wanted to carry on.
The search for a new guitarist was pretty easy: Evert anounced he
was leaving on sunday, monday evening Huub contacted us for a rehearsel.
While typing this, it's been six months since the latest line-up
Now Sandra, Rik, Deny and Huub are constantly
writing songs and playing gigs. You can look at
BAND section for individual info about the members.
We'll see you at one of our gigs!
