QUISQUEYA

quisqueya performs live compostions through the use of electric bass, samples, loops, drum kit/percussion. some of the compositions perfomed are original instrumental sketches, while others are completely improvised. quisqueya also performs the music of Instant Death, in tribute to the great bass/drum rock duo, as well as covers by Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, etc.... the studio quisqueya recordings are the works of Dave Johnsen. i hope you enjoy.
The Live Band:
Ben Miosi plays drum kit and percussion. Ben also performs with Black Market Dynamite, the Argonauts, Family Circus Trio, and the Levi Levinos Trio as well as spearheads many local community art projects.
Dave Johnsen plays electric bass, loops, samples, moogs, and vocals. Dave is currently also performing with the Project Object, the Mahavishnu Project, Adam Holzman and Brave New World, Wavetaster, the Ooftah Boys, the Argonauts, Family Circus Trio, the Twiggz, the Levi Levinos Trio, and the Gonzo Project.
