PS (Poltzer Surprise) was formed in 2002. A few months passed from their inception and they played more and more serving high energy sets to their predominantly hardcore audiences. Considering their nearly nonstop lineup changes, PS is ideally a five piece band. The band's diverse interest in music reflects the unpredictability of their songs and live shows.
A strong following for the band has developed in and around the Boston area in the past few years and in 2006, PS continues to change and develop its sound. They have plans to release a new vinyl/EP.
