First a bit of history:
Promaetheus Unbound was born in 2001 by Synder, Nepesh ra and Paranoia...soon joined by Aeshla. The first demoCd "Puer" was released in 2002 with The Count at the vocals. In 2003 P.U. released the second demoCd "Reforging Pneuma" with Synder as vocalist, with a good answer by public and critics. In 2004 Synder left the band. Aeshla, Paranoia and Nepesh ra started a compositive work waiting for the formation to take a new equilibrium. In june 2005 Glorfindel from Eyelash and Zero Tolerance joined the band as vocalist. In september of the same year the band released his third promoEp, "The Curse of Titans". In May 2006 The Awakening from Shoreborn joined the band as guitarplayer. Promaetheus Unbound is now working on new material and looking trough to promotion.

Then something deeper:
Our themes are very important for us, we took the decision to create a kind of continous drop between our last work "The Curse of Titans" and the future works..
Starting from our monicker, we all are very interested in mithology, the ancient greek one especially. As you could read in the lirycs of The Curse of Titans, it's all about Promaetheus and what's around him.

There are mostly 2 sides of talking about ancient mithology for Promaetheus Unbound:
1) stories and feelings about what the myths said (of course with lot of personal)
2) somethig every man should ask himself when thinkin' about the real and deep mythology meaning (philosophy is the right word)

We know where we are from and the old culture we bring on our shoulders....so the best thing we can do is talk about our darkest and deepest rational part..
