Formed in 1997, Project 13 made a decision that there would no longer be any talk of "lets have a sound like this band or that band." Instead everyone just play how they feel. While experimenting with their sound, the band went through many of styles and a few line-up changes. The band's originality finally formed when project 13 decided to become a 3 piece band. Project 13 is Jamey Parker(Vocals/Guitars), Kevin Seay(Bass) and Scott Camacho(Drums).

With Project 13's newly found sound and with their many years of experience, they have gained a strong following in their hometown.With the number growing, Project 13's music is sure to stay. Over the past few years, Project 13 has shared the stage with national acts such as Non Point, Queensryche, Socialburn, A Dozen Furies and Scatter the Ashes. Project 13 had also played several shows with three of their local radio stations(98Rock, 97x and 102.5 Hard Classic Rock) With a lot of these things under their belt, it is sure to only make the bands following larger.

Through the years, Project 13 has released 4 cds(Project 13, Fuel to Burn, A Bakers Dozen and Burning Bridges) and is currently working on their 5th cd (Atmosphere). Project 13 has over 1,000 copies of each cd roaming around the population. That is a total of over 4,000 cds in Florida, not to bad for a local band.

Five out of the ten songs released to mp3.com made it into the top five on the Alternative Metal charts and from June of 2001 until the recent close of mp3.com, Project 13 had over 100,500 plays. With all that has been done, the band feels that there is much more to accomplish. Project 13 is aiming for the top and not letting anyone or anything hold them back!
