Elated. Yearning. Inspired. These are all emotions one may experience after taking a listen to Practically Single. Using abrasive guitar hooks, poppy drum beats, and ambient bass lines they brew up an enriching sound that leaves you longing for more. By mixing poetic lyrics and catchy riffs with very little filtering, they set out to create a sound anyone can latch on to. The pay off intern, is the energy the band receives from their audience at a show. Music can relate to anyone. There is no better feeling than having people react in a positive way to the music that your band works so hard to create.?
The five-piece Pop/Punk band from Clarion, PA has developed their style over the years with influences by Fall Out Boy, Cartel, Panic At The Disco, The Used, Boys Like Girls.
Already opening for such bands as I Am, The Avalanche, and All Time Low, PRACTICALLY SINGLE has quickly gained the experience and the know how to becoming a solid act that will take off and explode in the future.
Recently, Practically Single has moved to Philadelphia, PA and is working on a 5 track EP with Eric Plesha (Valencia, Promise of Redemption, sat in on Four Year Strong's Explain's It All and Cobra Starship's Hot Mess). Keep an eye out for the EP release late fall/early winter of 2009!
