Serialized Music Release.
3 Song Pilot EP to be release followed by a season of 8 songs in which 1 song is released per week.

Sparked by a marked disappointment in the trend of music industry, Jason Suwito created Polaris At Noon, hoping to give a new model for fans to grasp on to. The concept is simple: serialize the release of music in which a song is released weekly to form a âseasonâ of songs.
Polaris At Noon was conceived in January 2008 after Jason Suwito realized that his back catalogue of songs was piling up. Being a writer whoâs music ranges from rock, to pop, to piano ballads, and electronic, releasing music in a serialized manner (one week at a time) was perfect for a collection of songs that donât necessarily fit into one cohesive album. The dynamics of fan-to-artist relationships are changing with the plethora of social networking sites popping up on the net. With no record label, no distribution, and literally no startup fan-base, what better way to start up a project than with something new and heavily reliant on the Internet.
âSeason One: The Prospectâ showcases 11 tracks; 3 of which are to be released on âThe Pilot EPâ, and 8 that will be released one week at time, for a two month period. The songs came into fruition through Suwitoâs love for songwriting and as a means to channel lifeâs events and ideas into. âEvery song stands on itâs own. Being able to write freely, with no inhibitions, enabled me to write songs all across the board of genres, and get away with it. Not having someone breathe down your neck and try to tell you what to do is quite liberating.â gleams Suwito, reflecting on the album and the process of creating the songs. All the songs were written, recorded, produced, and performed by Suwito. When asked about recording with no help of an outside source, Suwito responded, âIt was taxing at times. Sure, having someone press the buttons, and edit everything would have been great. But this way was so much more gratifying at the end. I hope people will find something they like in the collection Iâve made, because I know Iâve worked to my fullest capacity for these songs to exist.â
