Members: Dave Kezer
Dave is awesome. He likes all sorts of music, because narrow-minded people aren't very neat or fun. Pocketwatch is his brainchild; the dirty production and intelligent words and ideas of modern independent hip-hop, mixed with the lush alternative/classic guitar rock sounds of previous ages... both of which Dave loves very much. Oh yeah, and lots of insane "vocals through the juicer" screaming.
Formed in fall 2004 mainly out of boredom and the inability to find open-minded musicians, Dave set out to create music that wasn't predetermined to be anything other than fun and challenging.
To listen to Pocketwatch is to know what it was like when Archimedes stumbled upon static mechanics in 257 BC, while at the same time, knowing what it was like when Jimmy Page vomited in a man's hat in 1969 AD. Both, when given adequate processing time, can be extremely insightful, and deliciously entertaining. Thus is Pocketwatch!
