PJ Rose - Manifesto

“Manifesto” es el nombre que titula al primer material discográfico de un joven y prometedor artista que hace algunos años viene colándose en la escena electrónica mundial: PJ Rose.

El disco se encuentra conformado por ocho canciones bailables que rozan por momentos el pop y lo alternativo, orientado tanto al reproductor casero como al dancefloor.

“Manifesto” is the name which christens the discographical debut of a young, promising artist who has been filtrating in the global electronic scene during the past years: PJ Rose.

The album itself consists of eight songs ranging from pop to alternative, making them enjoyable both on the dancefloor and the common home stereo.

PJ Rose comenzó como un proyecto electrónico en el 2004. Eran necesarios sonidos innovadores que pudieran afectar de manera positiva a la cultura local bailable, fue así como dio a conocer sus primeras producciones en un EP editado en el 2005 que al día de la fecha está agotado.

Sus recitales en formato electrónico comenzaron a producir buenas vibras a través de Buenos Aires y concretaron en el interés de artistas que lo tomaron en cuenta como un remixer que prometía mucho, en especial por su corta edad. Fue así como se encargó de remezclar a bandas nacionales como Intima (Hypnotic Loop Records) y Koolture (Eternal Sunday Records), ambos remixes editados digitalmente, al tiempo que participó del compilado Mata de la peluquería Prana.

Este fue un pequeño gran paso que dio antes de remixar a los barceloneses The Pinker Tones quienes lo incluyeron en su disco de remezclas “More Colours!” editado en Argentina por Alerta Discos y en más de 50 países alrededor del mundo, compartiendo créditos junto a Zeta Bosio, Kinky, Capri y Daniel Melero entre otros.

PJ Rose began his electronic project around 2004 due to the necessity of innovate sounds capable of giving a positive twist to the local dance culture. Hence, by 2005 he had introduced his first works in the form of an independent EP, which up to date is completely sold out.

Through a series of successful concerts in the Argentine city of Buenos Aires, he forged his own fame among the scene as a very promising remixer, especially given his young age. Thanks to his growing reputation, he managed to have his remixes for national bands Intima and Koolture (Hypnotic Loop Records and Eternal Sunday Records, respectively) digitally edited, at the same time taking part of “Mata” compilation, released by Prana.

Said recording proved to be an important step prior to remixing the Spanish band The Pinker Tones, who included him on their “More Colours!” album, edited in Argentina by Alerta Discos, and over fifty other countries worldwide, sharing credits with important and experienced musicians such as Zeta Bosio, Kinky, Capri and Daniel Melero, among others.
