There's really no big story about how we got started, we really all just fell together during the summer of 2003. In the beginning we had just borrowed Corey from another band (Easy Way Out represent!) to drum for us until we found a preminent but we fell in love with those wierd rolls and decided to keep him ( He came with papers, shots and all.) Cody was originally from another pensacola band called Uncalled-For, but they broke up in april of '03. Ben had just recently moved to Pensacola from Virgina, and has played guitar for 8 years. Melissa was new to the whole band thing but had been wanting to get something started. When we got together for the first time ever and had a song 20 minutes later, we decided that it was meant to be. Piss & Vinegar has a mostly old skool influenced sound of bands like Black Flag, Minor Threat, The Subhumans, and the Exploited.
