Pippa Beckford is a 16-year-old solo musician based near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Shes been writing music on-and-off for the last two year years, and recently purchased an eight-track recorder in order to record songs, both for A Level Music, and for her own enjoyment. Her instrumental skills include singing, guitar, bass, saxophone and piano and will soon be learning the drums. Initially, Pippa wrote songs in the styles of her favourite bands, but now, her musical style draws inspiration for all genres of music from jazz and blues, to pop and rock.

Pippa hopes to bring originality to her music, as well as a sense of familiarity. She writes both vocal and instrumental pieces, the former usually being from the musical theatre or popular song genre. Her instrumental pieces are varied from blues solo based around the electric guitar, to melodic acoustic works.

Pippa is currently in the process of writing a promotional EP of six to eight tracks, including the songs Cant Look Down and As The Sun Goes Down, as well as the instrumental track Monday.
