Inspired by all kinds of music, the band tries to creates their own sound. What makes PINBOYS stand out from the thousands of other pop-rock-punk bands is the full use of both a male and female lead vocal. The two vocals have their own identity, but together they match in a special harmony. Furthermore, PINBOYS add loads of details and ripping guitar riffs, which put a lot of variety in their songs, but at the same time keep them snappy.
So far the music of PINBOYS has caught the attention of thousands of fans from all over the world. In 2006 the band released their debut album "Teenage Wasteland" on Iceberg Records and it was a fairly big success in the pop-punk genre in Germany and Japan. Now the band has made the follow-up - "Simple Art" - where music style has changed to edgy pop/rock compared to the previous release. The focus is still on the remarkable songwriting of the band combined with catchy hooks. The songs are simple and cut to the bone leaving space for the vocals to reign.
On tour the band has played more than 300 shows in the US, Europe and Japan with bands such as Fall Out Boy, Billy Talent and Millencolin.
