I've actually just been chilling at home this whole week. All I've been doing is making omelettes every morning, picking up the house, spending time with my family, and making dinner. Pillar is currently in the studio with Travis Wyrick (POD, 10 Years, Pillar) right now working hard on the new record. Recording will probably go into March. The record will hit stores this summer. read more

We just stopped for lunch at the Big Texan in Amarillo, TX for lunch. They have this big 72 ounce steak that if you can eat it its free. No I did not even attempt it. I ate a 12 ounce steak and was extremely full. I couldn't imagine eating 6 of those. Ugh. The bus is so empty. Its just Bo, Jesse, and I riding home. Tulsa, OK (short break from recording)

So we are back home for a few days. Our producer Wyrick had to have the week off to visit family in Florida. While we are out of the studio Wyrick's assistant Mike Dearing will be editing Lester's drum tracks. I can't believe how much we got done this last week. Lester laid drum tracks for 17 songs and 2 instrumentals (and remember we recorded 5 songs in August- that's 24 total!). Normally when we record albums we have deadlines and are a little rushed. What is up? Hope you all had a nice Christmas. We arrived here in Knoxville the morning of January 3rd to start working through song compositions and tracking drums. It normally takes the whole first day just setting up the drums and getting tones. We've been jamming and writing songs every chance we had since last January.
