Pictures of Alibis is based in Manila, Philippines, in the late year of 2003 a five piece band was born and it was composed of Karlo Ampuan who sings and play guitar for the band, Vishnu Keswani who plays hard hitting drum attacks, Orlando Cayabyab who play lead guitars, Miko Jison who do the back-up vocals and guitar and the new comer Bryan Guieb for his inspirational bass line and also sings for the band. The band influenced by greatest bands such as Blink 182, Funeral for a Friend, Escape the Fate, Typecast, The Ambassadors and the legendary Filipino band the Eraserheads. The band writes songs about the political situations and the life of every people which includes people who don’t deserve to be here in our Mother Earth =)
The band is planning to release their first record EP on 2010 which includes the tracks Autism, Chaotic Mind, Spectral Silence and Valkyrie (Incoming). Hope to see you in the future, keep supporting the independent bands in the Philippines. Maraming salamat po!
