Musicians speak, they write, they sing, and they present. All of this is in the hope that something they have to say will somehow make a difference. Maybe it will connect, maybe it will cause a new thought, or cause a new experience. Maybe it will even change a life. They labor and strive to make that next "hot" song, or that next "catchy" sound.
As a worshiper, on the other side of all this effort is a truth that remains. One word from the Lord can set a life free, can set a family free, and can set a nation free. Music is simply a form to express worship. It isn't to be worshiped itself, nor those who wield it.
"We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."
- 1 Corinthians 2:12-14
Listen to the song that the Spirit is singing. It is being sung out over the earth, and it carries within it the power to illuminate the one who sets us free from the bondage of sin. When you hear it you will know it, because it will bring life and truth; bringing the knowledge that He is the only thing we were ever created to live for. The Lord is releasing a new sound in the earth.
It is time for the worshipers to venture in to new places... prophecy the heart of the Father in your worship... intercede and war in Heavenly places in your worship... In you the Lord has given the authority to bind and release on earth what is bound and released in the Heavens... Hear the sound of the Father and RELEASE it wherever you are and through whatever means He has given you...

I was born in the New Orleans area on May 7th, 1979. Being raised most of my childhood in Saudi Arabia, my family and I traveled all over the world to countries like Egypt, Kenya, France, UK, Japan, China, Thailand, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, etc. I had no idea then that this exposure to the nations would set the table for the purpose and strategies of the Lord in my life.
After high school, I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Studio Art, and soon stumbled across the most amazing blessing of my life. I met Jennifer during my second year at Tech, and I knew that she was the one that God had sent for me. With strong giftings of discernment, prophecy, intercession and authority in the Lord and the most unselfish heart I have ever seen in my life, I am blessed to be connected with my wife and with the Lord for the time we have been given on earth. Jennifer and I were married on May 25th, 2002.
We were both involved in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Louisiana Tech for several years before the Lord began speaking to our hearts about a change that was coming. He was changing the scene in our lives. We had our baby girl, Elayna, changed cities, moving back home to the New Orleans area, and changed ministries. Can you say CHANGE?
Having landed down south in Boutte, LA, we are serving as youth pastors at LIFELINE Student Ministries, a ministry of Life Church. God has been stirring us up to begin preparing for the move of God that is coming, by allowing Him to transform us in to that very movement... calling us to extended times of prayer and intercession for our state and region. The words that have been spoken over our state WILL come to pass... and although the Heavens have been closed over this land for so many years, we are contending to create landing zones for the Spirit of God have liberty to mobilize His Kingdom here...
Be it the deep seat of racism and hate in our state... or the blood on our soil of countless abortions and suicides... it is time we reached Heaven with a cry for this land and saw the very presence and glory of God poured out on OUR soil...
