Pete Strayer is an eclectic singer-songwriter-composer from middle Tennessee, USA. As a multi-instrumentalist, Pete has toured as a sideman for various artists playing guitar, bass and keyboards. He has produced various albums from folk to alternative rock to ambient to country and written songs for gold record artists. He arranged, wrote and produced 2 instrumental records for Light Records and has had over 60 of his songs recorded by other artists. Recently, the band Goodbye Audio has covered his song, "Since I Was A Kid", co-written with Wes King to be released by Indieforce Records. He has been compared to Bruce Cockburn, Kevin Gilbert and David Wilcox. His sound can range from angular pop/alternative to simple acoustic folk. He is currently getting his publishing company Alta Drive Music (BMI) off the ground and also working on his debut alternative/folk record.
