PAT THE HUMAN

Metal / Southern Rock / Pop

From a mutant infested Texas desert arose seven beings, determined to do something worthwhile with their lives and not have to work some crappy nine-to-five. At first there was only five; Corey (vocals), Pico (vocals), Colton (guitar), Colin (bass), and Ramone (drums). This collective of beings wrote two original, off the wall, rockin' songs in early 2007 and learned a legendary cover song by a Goddess of Pop (AKA Kelly Clarkson). They took these tunes to a local record producer who had been hailed for his talent in recording/record producing, Geoff Rockwell (Forever the Sickest Kids, Memphis May Fire). They recorded a 3 song EP and released it a couple weeks later.

They decided before they starting playing live, they needed to find a second guitar player, the search was ruthless, there was blood, fights, mass murder, and most of all disappointment... They didn't think they'd ever find someone who could fit the non-mold of this band. Then one night a timid soul showed up, he shredded for the band and they were highly impressed, needless to say he was recruited, Jorge (guitar). After the search for the second guitar was over, they thought they would begin to prepare for playing live shows, but then out of no where, in the middle of the darkest most metal night a baby showed up on their practice space's doorstep. This being was foul, and monstrous but had an endless obsession with light. They raised this beast and he developed skills like no other, the ability to harness light and use it at his will, he showed to be very useful for the group, so he was also recruited and became a key part of their live show, Matt (lights).

They began playing countless amounts of shows, to fill the mouths of viewers with three letters "P.T.H.", sharing the stage with bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Bury Your Dead, At All Cost, MyChildren MyBride, and many more has gotten them noticed by more than a couple people. After playing on every stage there was to be played, they began to take some time for themselves, and began to write more, and more songs. After playing their hearts out, screaming and singing their lungs out, they were noticed by a New York record producer, Anthony Santonocito of Killingsworth Recording Co. (This Is Hell, Bedlight For Blue Eyes), he invited them to come live in the studio and record a full length album. They, of course, accepted his offer. For two weeks they stayed in New York recording their CD. It was the hardest two weeks of any of their lives, they fought and argued over nonsensical things, then realized what they were doing. They binded together and became more of a family than ever, they poured their hearts out into the CD they were making and finally had it finished. A record like nothing else, filled with insane guitar riffs and solos, defining drum patterns, off the wall bass lines, and ground-shaking roars followed with breath-taking harmonies and lyrics.

They came back to Texas and immediately began picking up where they had left off, tearing up the stages of helpless venues. Gaining an audience at the rate of a spreading cancer. Like a plague, they swept through towns, collecting new fans and gaining the love and trust of people who needed something new and a release from mainstream repetitive local and radio bands. Their stage show has been compared to that of a F5 tornado or the movie Independence Day. There was and is no stopping this monstrous force, they are winning hearts over left and right with their metal/southern influence original version of rock n' roll. This unstoppable juggernaut can only be known as...

PAT THE HUMAN.
