Path Of Obliteration was formed in early March 2006 when Brenan Clarke, Josh Bender and Nick Langenegger joined forces with lead guitarist Matt Kurucz. For the first year of the bands existence they remained a 4 piece band writing songs and playing shows in and around the Kitchener-Waterloo area. In June 2007, after a guest vocal appearance, they reached the decision to add vocalist Brandon Gatten to the mix. It was a natural fit. After his addition they began writing heavier and more technical music while still maintaining the trademark sound that has always defined Path of Obliteration. With their unique sound and energetic live show Path of Obliteration has firmly established themselves as one of the top bands in the highly over-populated local scene.
Now gearing up for the recording and release of their debut 6 song EP, Path of Obliteration are more ready than ever to play shows and take on the challenges that face them in the upcoming year!
