1994... the Beginnings
Pascal Mono forms Moulin Rouge, a band noticed by Hermann Rarebell, drummer of Scorpions. That’s when he starts to roar and detonate as well as write his first rock songs in collaboration with Phillipe Paradis (currently co-writer of French singer Zazie).

As any ‘provincial’ who wants to succeed, Pascal moves to Paris andt is immediately noticed by Norbert Krieff of Trust who invites him to Johnny Hallyday’s birthday party in the Hard Rock Caf...

This leads to the first jam sessions and the first signs of recognition and acknowledgement of Pascal’s talent from some leading artists.

1995-1998
First recording contract with a major record company, which will end in a lawsuit... Pascal was believed, however, to become the future Pop-Rock sensation... The artist does not regret a thing though: During that time, I wrote over fifty songs, I met some great songwriters, like Jean Fauque – French artist Bashung’s songwriter, M, Jacno, and the English composer Rick Frazer (with whom I recorded and pre-produced more than 20 singles).

In 1998 Pascal Mono is invited by Daran and Jean-Louis Foulquier on their radio programme, Pollen.

He is also solicited by Christian Vander to perform at the band Magma’s 25th birthday celebrations and sings I must return to start off the concert.

This is then followed by an invitation from Patrick Abrial to take part in the International Youth Day 97 where he performs Master and Lord before a crowd of over 600,000 people (even allowing himself to improvise!!) on the Champ de Mars, near the Eiffel Tower in Paris (live on French television) and then in front of one million people (!!) at the Longchamp Hippodrome, where he sings Janis’ Joplin’s Mercedez Benz ‘a cappella’, a truly unique experience.

Spring ‘98
Pascal accompanies ‘Chezere’, ex-Urban Species based in London and produced by Rick Frazer, on a European acoustic tour as the opening act of Massive Attack and Eagle Eye Cherry.

1999-2000
A new chapter begins for Pascal as he joins the techno-industrial rock band Spina (in the process of complete transformation) in a series of performances in the former submarine base in Bordeaux, following the Meilleur des Mondes tour (Musidic/Universal).

From this new collaboration between composer Laurent Paris and Pascal (singer et songwriter) emerges a new style of music, still deeply rooted in Spina’s own sound of machines and guitars albeit more ‘meloy-based’ and hence more easily accessible to a wider audience.

2001-2002
Creation of the dance show Togu with the collaboration between Spina and the audacious Japanese choreographer Carlotta Ikeda and her international Butoh (dance inspired by the nuclear traumatisms of Hiroshima and Nagasaki) dance company (Ariadone) and made up exclusively of women.

2003-2004
Worldwide tour with Spina-Ariadone, Togu (L’pine): France, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Scotlans, Sweden, Israel.

2004-2005
Continuation and final performance of Togu.

Back in his hometown of Nice and in parallel with Spina, Pascal forms a new pop-rock band called Mono, which represents in own musical style (French pop-rock).

He completes the autobiographical story of his Parisian days in the form of a diary (Diary of a Bard) and writes and composes over 70 new songs.

2005-2006
In September 2005, Pascal takes part in the TV reality show Star Academy 5, after being spotted in a pub where he was performing: You will be able to present your new songs to Pascal Ngre (Director of Universal Music), he was told. And there it began...

Described as an Interstellar Anomaly projected into the midst of throw-away pretty-boys (Technikart), he overturns and uproots the world of reality television by spending his incarceration time playing his own songs as well as Radiohead’s and Led Zeppelin’s titles. He manages to obtain the best scores ever on the programme and to reverse the voting with an inspired rendition of Sunday Bloody Sunday (U2), drawing in almost a million votes.

With cult songs such as Ma gueule (with Johnny Hallyday) and Murray Head’s Say it ain’t so Joe, Pascal leaves an indelible mark on the public and becomes the phenomenon watched by some 9 million people every week. The public has discovered an Artist...

Summer 2006
First solo album, Intact. With the help of Jean Fauque, songwriter for Bashung, and Antoine Essertier, producer of Daran, Pascal Mono presents a 13-song opus, including a bonus song (an acoustic version of a Led Zeppelin’s title), true to his influences and his pop-rock image. With committed lyrics and a voice sometimes powerful, sometimes fragile, this album is full of nuances and ends in the simplicity of his voice and his guitar... Avec des Mots...

Juny 2006
Opening act for French singer, Bnabar.

September 2006
Creation of Pascal’s MySpace page on the net.

November 2006
First concert with his own band to start off the INTACT TOUR at Le Rservoir, in Paris, where he sings to a full house, with the presence of Trust.

December 2006
Opening act for Murray Head, who accepts to share a song with Pascal, Say it ain’t so.

January 2007
Concert in Le Caf de la Danse in Paris in front of a full house.

With more than 175,000 hits in 4 months, Pascal is No1 on MySpace in the Classic Rock France category and is in the leading group, all categories included.

February 2007
Launch of Sur Mon Cœur on the radio stations...
