Parmalee is a Country Rock band from North Carolina that recently signed with Stoney Creek Records. Their name is derived from the small town of Parmele, NC, where they started creating music in a small barn. Parmalee consists of lead singer and guitarist Matt Thomas, bassist and vocalist Barry Knox (Matt and Scott Thomasâ€™ cousin), Josh McSwain (lead guitar, vocals, and friend), and drummer Scott Thomas (Mattâ€™s brother).

OMG I just realized I have had a disk with a song of yours for so many years it's crazy back when you were called Slipjoint. How wild. I wouldn't have even known about the name change if I hadn't emailed the radio station that produced the disk in question for a track list. Wicked cool.
