Boston based Parker House and Theory were recognized locally with a Boston Music Award for their EP release in 2006, Parker House and Theory follow up with their highly anticipated full length album “Automatic Stranger”, released in the spring of 2008 on Rule of 4 Records. Recorded with 7x Grammy winner Thom Russo (Audioslave, System Of A Down, Juanes, Mana) “Automatic Stranger” delivers energetic rock, driving funk, infectious pop melodies, intimate moments and mature arrangements.

Labeled as a "soon to crack" band (Boston Herald) and "one of the next generation of acts to watch" (Boston Globe), Parker House and Theory is on a mission to spread their musical seed far and wide. Having won over the audiences of and shared the stage with Jurassic 5, 311, G. Love and Special Sauce, The Wailers, Dropkick Murphy’s, John Butler Trio, and State Radio, they are on the right path.

Explicitly diverse, often misclassified, Parker House and Theory mashes genres, oozes with energy and smacks you in the face with charisma and originality. Rooted in the eccentric nature of the 5 Emerson College acting and film grads, personality is always center stage. What started in the clubs and colleges around Boston has grown beyond the North East thanks to relentless touring and an organic grassroots buzz.
