Paramita is comprised of three simple yet vibrant musicians namely Ria Bautista (Drums and Vocals), Alsey Cortez (bass), and Marco de Leon (Guitar). The three got together during an open jam session at a local bar in Manila, Philippines. Since then, they have been battling the odds and striving for excellence.

Paramita, is the Tibetan Buddhism term for perfection, thus they strive to attain this state in music. To them, perfection in music is simply a cohesive sound with words anybody can relate to. It's more of the feeling of music than technicalities. Paramitas music is exactly that...simple, easy and heart felt.

The one thing that separates Paramita from most bands is that Ria Bautista, plays drums while she sings live. And that counts for a lot of things. It's three piece power with an edge.
